About Me

VISION: to facilitate people with Cardiac / Pulmonary / Neurological Rehabilitation needs to lead healthy and productive lives in the workplace and community by providing personalized quality health, fitness and wellness programmes in a safe and supportive environment.

I have been working in the fitness industry for over 18 years; starting out as a Personal Trainer/Strength and Conditioning Coach in 2006. I have built and developed a comprehensive Cardiac and Pulmonary Exercise Rehabilitation Programme in the Cork region over the last 13 years, after gaining my British Association for Cardiac Prevention and Rehabilitation (BACPR) qualification in 2010. During this time I have received referrals from the Cardiac programmes in CUHBon Secours, MUH, South Infirmary and the Mater Private Cork. In the last few years I have also developed a pathway for referrals from the Pulmonary Rehab Programme in the Bon Secours.

For a number of years I worked in a specialised Neuro Gym, working closely with HSE Community Physiotherapists who referred people with Neurological Conditions such as MS, Parkinson's, Stroke and Acquired Brain Injury.

I have also worked with various sporting groups, including the Cork Minor Hurlers and the Cork Underage GAA Development Squads. I have been Head Coach of Mallow AC for over 10 years, a club with over 180 members and I am responsible for providing and implementing training plans for each of the sessions and dealing with individual queries and issues around training, injuries and nutrition on an ongoing basis.

After recently completing a Cancer and Exercise Rehabilitation qualification (from CanRehab), I am now offering individualised classes to people both during and after treatment for cancer.
